After the conference

The conference was a great success, with fascinating keynotes given by Mireille Rosello and John Akomfrah. I will soon be posting photos of the conference, as well as the more formal documents from the Executive Committee. As a taster, here is a photo of the winner of the BAFTSS Best Monograph Award, Helen Piper, receiving her certificate. Next year’s conference will be in Bristol, in the Department’s brand new premises opened this week. Phil Powrie

Welcome to the new BAFTSS website

We are proud to unveil our new website. Please tell us what you think of it and how we might improve it. Can I remind you that subscription to the Association is by calendar year; please renew your subscription if you are already a member, and if you are not please consider becoming a member. We have been working hard in the last year with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues to ensure that BAFTSS is a strong voice in support of teaching and research in our disciplines. The more of us there are the stronger we are.
